June Recipe with Samantha

Huge hello Everyone!!

Ready to work with this scrumptious June kit?!

I know I sure am!

Just LOVE these colours and the sweet embellishments!!

Now I'm lucky enough to bring you the Recipe for this Months Kit....

I want to share with you the joys of  creative washi tape banners!
They are super easy to make and I promise you'll have fun! :)

Gather all your supplies...

  • Glue/double sided tape
  • Scissors
  • June's Kit

And away we go :}

Step1.

Open up your June Kit, pick and print out your photos and eat your complementary lollies.....

Step 2.
Distress background paper and trim photos.
Cut out some tags from Crate paper - story teller and cut the top border of Al aboard studio.

Step 3.
Cut around the red tag and freehand scallop your green tag.
Lightly ink around edges of tags with grey ink or other co ordinating ink.

Step 4.
Glue Down your tags, cutting a quarter of the green tag to place on the opposite side of your tag cluster.

Step 5.

One of the most important steps....Make a cup of coffee :}

Step 6.
Now for the fun part! the sprinkles!!!
Lets make this washi tape banner i have raved about!!

OK I am lucky enough to have my red washi tape left from March kit and a black and white washi tape from else where, but if you just have your kit, you can use the reverse side of All aboard, red and white spot paper and a grey tag from the Crate Paper - Story Teller.

Now with your scissors and glue cut strips of the paper or tape,
Sticking the paper or tape over and around the twinge from your kit.

After you have created a length of to be banner that you are happy with,
It's time to style your flags,

I went with the normal pointed flags but if you have creative edge scrissors you could scollop them or just round your edges, it's really up to you how you style your banners :)

Step 7.

It's time to attach your banners!! get for those brads!!

And an extra sprinkle of cute APOCD buttons and bingo chip!
If you have a few sewing pins you may like to create a couple of star pins like i have,
Just pop together two star stickers and a pin...and hey presto! Star pin! :)

Last but not the least a title!

Then outline with felt tip pen and  your finito!

Thank you all for joining me this month's Recipe :)
I can't wait to see what you are creating with your June Kit!!
