Good morning

I'm feeling sentimental today & sharing a soppy lovey page I created of Jessica and Trevor.
Every now and again I like to create an A4 page - just to mix it up a bit and try something a little different.

I used papers from the Feb main kit as well as a few bits from the ephemera pack and focused the whole page around the Hello Love digi cut from the Feb release!

Some messy sewing and cotton, adds in some more white elements to the page as well as acting as a border to frame the layout!

Today I'm sharing a page that I created using the digi cut that was left over after I created this layout!

Waste not ... want not!

This collage of photos of Jessica and her BFF Lillian is nothing short of awesome and this title was right on the money!



I love this set created by Polka Dot Creative!

I used the papers from the Feb Main kit and added a little ink and lead pencil to grunge it up a little!

Digi Store Saturday ... Natalie May

 Oh My Giddy Aunt .... Have you seen the NEW February Cut files over in the shop?

I am soooo IN LOVE with all of them ... in fact ... I have been cutting up a storm in the last 24 hours and be prepared to be flooded with these great files over the next month.

They are soooo versatile and will go PERFECTLY on just about everything I'm thinking.

 

So to start with, I used the NEW February Main Kit that has just gone live 

to create this quick page of Miss Louise and Myself!

Lou and I have been "scrappy besties" for over 7 years and I think 

she's all kinds of awesome so this cut file was right on the money!

I used the cardstock from the kit and the spot paper plus a few of the gold die cuts 

from the Crate Paper Ephemera Pack!

I added in some sequins from my personal stash and a little stitching around the edges!

Simple and effective!

Messy Monday with Natalie ...

 How was your weekend?

It's HOT here in Adelaide and we have a few more HOT days coming up too ....I'm not a fan of hot weather ... actually I hate it... but there could be worse things!

So today I'm sharing a page I created with the January Cupcake Kit!

I have forgotten how much I love working with Gelatos!

There are TWO double scoops in the kit - awesome!

For this page, I used them as watercolours by rubbing them onto my craft mat 

first then using a paint brush to apply them to my page.

I then stamped with them by making a puddle of colour on my mat

then stamping into it then straight onto my page. 

I love the way it creates a softer look.

So I hope you are all staying cool - where ever you are!

My best friends daughter had a birthday on Australia Day 

and I needed a quick and easy little gift tag to attach to her gift.

Looking through my stash, I decided to use one of 

the APOCD Exclusive Wood Veneers for the tag  ... 

these are super cute and only .75cents each in store!

I had a few little extras left over from my  

November Cupcake kit (which is now down to $13.97) too so 

I used the flower die cuts from the Heidi Swapp Ephemera along 

with a couple of circle digi cuts left over from Teen Embellishments Cut Files and Brushes - Set 2

 

The Flair from the Mr & Mrs Chalk set finished it off nicely!

Messy Monday - sweetest people - Felicity Wilson

 Hello APOCD fans!
Happy Australia Day!
I hope your all enjoying this long weekend.

I snuck in some scrapping the last couple days. I  have been playing with the January Main kit. This kit would have to be my favourite!!! So much so that I didn't want to cut up any the papers or use any of the embellishments.. tee hee... but I did eventually.

Now excuse this pregnancy brain... I meant to take a photo of the background I create, but I f o r g o t ! ! !
I created this with lots of watercolours, some stamps which I then used water colour paints to colour them and a couple of Heidi swap Colour shine sprays and Shimmerz.

Then I layed lots of those fabulous Dear Lizzy embellishments. They are so cute!!

Cant wait to share another project soon with this awesome kit.
