SPECIAL GUEST - Madga Mizera - A Card

Today I am here to share Madga's first layout share as our Special Guest, using our 'Dare to Dream' flair set on a card which she has embellished, including a cute box to store it in too. 

Here is the set she used which is available in the APOCD Store:

GUEST DESIGNER - Sharmaine Kruijver

Today I am here to share another layout from our Guest Sharmaine Kruijver. Sharmaine has created up a storm working with our October Main Cake kit.

Here is Sharmaine's layout : I love the vertical design of this! So different but engaging and flows so well!

Here is what Sharmaine said about her layout:
Sometimes I just like to make pages that are clean, this was one of those. I ripped a section of vellum and attached it to the Kraft cardstock. I backed my photo with the wood veneer card (LOVE THAT!), I then cut out an arrow, from the “A-Lister” paper, added that to my page along with the Manufacturer strip (with the words Moments Documented) and the grey graph paper.

I then cut off a third of the Kraft paper, punched a semicircle from a side and backed it with some of the “Found” pattern paper. I typed up my journaling, on a shipping tag and adhered this to my layout. Adding flair finished off my page. I thought about adding paint or texture paste but, like I said, sometimes a clean page makes me happy.

Sharmaine used a Flair from the Painted - Version 2 set available in our store

I am so honoured to be hosting this hop with Scrapbook Creations Magazine and to be a part of this amazing talented group of ladies, all sharing projects with a common love.....FLAIR, FLAIR and more FLAIR!
Today I have two guest designer layouts to share and one from little ol' me!
Our first share is from our October Guest Sharmaine Kruijver.....lucky you all get to be inspired by her twice as she is also part of the hop! :)

Layout title: Yum Cha in Sydney

This is certainly a 'Cherry Flair' loving layout by Sharmaine! Here she has used a combination of our Painted Version 1 and Painted Version 2 Cherry Flair packs....as well as using our October Main Cake Kit contents.



Here are some close ups of the Flair: This is from the Painted Version 2 - A great way to highlight flair is to add a circle of embroidery thread or regular cotton behind them.

Next we have a share from our special international guest Magda Mizera. Today Magda's project we are sharing as part of this hop is a card and a stunning one at that!



Card: Dare to Dream

I think this card by Magda really highlights the versatility of Flair, in particular my Cherry Flair :) They can be used as an embellishment on a layout or as the 'statement piece' on a card. So stunning! Magda has used a flair from the Dare to Dream set.

And isn't Magda's photography of her project just beautiful!?!

Layout Title: Dummy Love

Incase you were not aware, each of the Scrapbooking kits I release each month contains sets of Cherry Flair that are exclusively designed for that kit. Meaning, you can only get those particular flair designs when you purchase that particular kit. This layout was created using parts of the October Cupcake kit, some extras available in the APOCD store and the heart flair which was exclusive to the October Main Cake Kit.



I love to cluster and layer my embellishments, a Cherry Flair is the perfect addition to any cluster and adds a perfect amount of dimension to a page :)

SPECIAL GUEST - Magda Mizera - So Lovely

Today I am here to share Madga's first layout share as our Special Guest, using our 'Bloomin' Lovely' Cherry Flair....Magda has taken lots of close ups so you will get to see in detail how gorgeous her layout is and how awesome our Cherry Flair are too :)

Here Magda has used beautiful soft American Crafts papers and stickers, teamed with a doily, and Glitz Designs stamps. Plus of course, our Cherry Flair.

GUEST DESIGNER - Sharmaine Kruijver - Pink Ukulele

Today I am here to share the first layout share from our Guest Sharmaine Kruijver. Sharmaine is busy working with our October Main Cake kit. 

Here is Sharmaine's layout titled Pink Ukulele.

Here is what Sharmaine had to say about her layout:

I love the piece of “Treasure”, from Crate Paper, found in the main kit. But the stripes were distracting from the photo. By adding the strip of white/pink star, “Sparkling Stars” from American Crafts, I was able to bring the attention back to the photo.

Sequins are a great little embellishment for clusters. Adding just one to a cluster, comprising of a piece of wood veneer and a resin flower, added just a little pop of colour, perfect for the clusters I created.
By cutting the bottom off the manila tag I was able to use the bottom and create a second tag, both of which I added to my page.

Sharmaine has used the 'heart' exclusive Cherry flair only available in the kit, along with the resin flower, sequins, SC heart and the Amy Tan transparent stickers.

I love the thread detail surrounding the 'Everyday Cork' Cherry Flair.

Close up of the title work, Sharmaine has also added a strip of the Amy Tan ribbon under her stickers.

Another exclusive Cherry Flair to this kit! Yum!
