Guest Designer Share - Kim Price - Belle of the Ball

Today we are back with another share from Kim using the July Main Cake Kit which is available in our store www.apieceofcakedesigns.com.au

Here is Kim's layout and what she had to say about it :)

I wanted to create a layout using the pretty pinks and gorgeous peach shades in the current kit – something completely feminine. I’ve used Heidi Swapp Color Shine mist in Primrose to create a colour wash background on the white textured cardstock, allowed it to dry thoroughly and began adding my elements – strips of vellum and patterned papers top and bottom along with wooden embellishments which I painted with the mist, a ticket stub and top of a manila tag, a paper flower, giant sequins, star stickers and my title. I then added some large mist drops and finished the whole layout off with one of the A Piece Of Cake exclusive flair buttons. I love how flat these are, they add very little bulk to your layout and will work well with your album.
